2018 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon Was One Of The Smartest Investments Ever

As a final send-off to the supercharged V8, Dodge went wild with the Demon 170. Unlike the 2018 model, the 2023 Demon 170 can run on E85 ethanol, boosting the output to 1,025 horsepower compared to 840 hp (808 hp on pump gas) in the previous Demon. Even on regular pump gas, the Demon 170 still produces 880 hp. Dodge says the 170 will rip off 0-60 mph in 1.66 seconds and run through the quarter-mile in just 8.91 seconds at 151.2 mph.

Given the improved performance of the Demon 170, it’s no wonder that prices are already astronomical. Prices range from around $180,000 on the low end to over $250,000 on the high end. This is clearly more expensive than the 2018 Demon, which is why some dealers have tried to get insane markups of over $200,000. In fact, the final example sold at auction for over $700,000.
