New in Bonita Springs: Rooftop at Riverside offers views, cocktails & food truck options

What to do when everyone in your group wants something different to eat?

In Bonita Springs, a new best bet destination is Rooftop at Riverside, the spacious and stunning new inside-outside venue created by Chris Magnus featuring food trucks, a rooftop dining area plus a cocktail program developed by Phil Wills, who co-starred on Paramount Network’s “Bar Rescue.”

It officially opened Jan. 11.

The food truck lineup includes:

  • Butcher’s Blvd.: Burgers, hot dogs, handhelds plus main courses, including pork chops and ribeye, priced from $6 to $27. Sliders are $7 and under, perfectly sized for kids.

  • Crooked Cow Creamery: Treats from “Sanibel’s Best Homemade Ice Cream” hover from $6.50 to $12, with several booze-infused options.
  • Ma Petite Creperie: Heavenly crepes and galettes.
  • No Manches: Mexican street food that takes its name from a popular Spanish slang phrase that means “don’t suck” although the actual translation is “don’t stain.”
  • OCN Seafood: Delicacies touting from “boat to bite” offer a variety of fish and size options priced $6 to $22.

  • Zoey’s Pizza: Crisp and thin pies that can be ordered gluten-free, priced from $16.50 to $19. Salads and wings too.

Hours: Sunday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.; Friday and Saturday until midnight.
