Custom car show rolls into Pueblo

(PUEBLO, Colo.) — Over the weekend, custom car enthusiasts took to the Colorado State Fairgrounds for the so-called ‘Kool Kustom Kar Show’ held at the Palace of Agriculture.

The car show began on Friday, Jan. 26, and ran through Sunday, Jan. 28. FOX21 Photojournalist Dez Rowe went to the event on Sunday for an inside look.

“Once a year I rent the [Palace of Agriculture]… and kind of get everyone [and] car guys together, who’ve had their cars indoors all winter,” said Nick Donovan, Founder of the Kool Kustom Kar Show.

For 25 years, the custom car show has rolled into Pueblo and is a favorite among car collectors.

“I have just enjoyed cars growing up and never had any toys, so now these are all my toys and I enjoy working with them, making them, and buying them,” said Bob Reed, a car collector. “It’s just enjoyable to come back each year and see the different types of cars and all of the new people you meet.”
